As we rejoice this Christmas season in the greatest miracle, God's sending His only Son to redeem a fallen humanity, we remember that God is still in the miracle-working business. Each of the children at Ephratha House are evidence of His miraculous love. We are in awe of the wonderful works of God as He has rescued these little ones from some of the most dire situations on the face of the earth.
We are now at 90% capacity, currently housing 9 of the 10 children we are equipped to serve. The children of Ephratha House are getting ready to celebrate their first Christmas with us. This will be the first year these children have had a gift to open. This is the first year that most of them with have a Christmas dinner. They will sleep secure, warm, with full bellies, curled up with a new gift. Without support, none of this would be possible. Though we are working toward a self-supporting agricultural model, we are not there yet. The rent, food, staffing, fuel, utilities, and medicine all cost money, and we are immeasurably grateful for the faithful support of our brothers and sisters in Christ. From all of us at Ephratha House, "Khrisimasi abwino!!" (Merry Christmas!! )
